Today, the 8th Asian Leadership Conference held at The Grand Walkerhill Hotel in Seoul, South Korea. And who more to grace the occassion best than the former U.S. president Barack Obama.
He greeted everyone present by saying good morning in Korean (Anneyong-haseyo, of course). Isn't that very cultured of him?
Barack Obama talked about how he had previously visited Seoul as a president on other business reasons. He then talked a little about how he has strengthened the relationship between South Korea and the United States of Amerca by reason of the other visits to their country.
The former president also mentioned KPOP group SHINee in as he talked about the friendship between South Korea and the United States. He added that he knows SHINee enjoys America’s In-N-Out hamburgers. How remarkable!
He mentioned a lot of other political things that are probably not to your interest, but the main focus is how he mentioned the group SHINee.
Could it be that the former president of the U.S. is actually a die-hard KPOP fan in secret, or he just simply used this random KPOP group, (as well as the greeting in Korean) to get familiar with them? I mean, one google search away can let you know all these in less than a minute!

Good day Chingus!
