BREAKING NEWS: Shinee's ONEW allegedly molests woman; SME claims charges dropped.

Our very own ONEW of Shinee has been accused of sexually harassing a young woman at a night club, according to the police investigation.

SM Entertainment   responded to this, saying that Onew was drunk and that any contact that may have happened was under the influence of alcohol. They also went on to say that the charges were dropped as the woman accepted that it must have been a misunderstanding.
Here's what SM had to say...

So basically, Onew touched some lady at the night club, but didn't even remember. Thank goodness that she was decent enough to understand his situation, not in this new age where rape charges can ruin a career.
I'd hope to hear her own point of view though, and hear how the incident actually happened.

Unrealistic Korean Dramas: Entertaining or too un-cultural?

Hiii my Chingus!
Today, I was reviewing Bride of the Water God (not impressed so far, sorry), and what came to mind was how the scenes were staged and it's link towards reality. Then I started thinking about all the Korean dramas, and it all had the same concepts.
Maybe it's just me, but does this give us a false view of what Korean Culture is all about? Ranging from the normal way they eat in Seoul being changed to the standard American System of a dining table, to numerous people driving luxurious cars and what not..
Also, do you consider this entertaining? Is it really just about the bright image of your favourite actors and actresses, and the fact that they appear in the movie? Or do you actually look for some strong reality in the movie/series before it can be entertaining to you?
What's my major question?
What are those unrealistic things that happen in Korean Dramas, that would certainly not happen in real life?
I know this topic might've been brought up before, but apart from these unrealistic scenes, do these unrealistic scenes leave you un-entertained, or you still enjoy it.
The scenes I've noticed include:
How everyone in these dramas live in such preposterously wealthy homes with luxurious jobs, clothes, and cars!

How it is possible in Seoul, a city of some ten million people, that if you are looking for someone, you just need to drive your car slowly down any road at night and they will be walking along it, drunk and/or crying?
Thumbnail

If every episode of a historical soap has a battle scene with scores of soldiers killed, how is it that enough people survived to populate modern Korea? I mean this one just puts me off..
What are your views? I'm interested.

Here's Kim Chungha. Why?

Because it's Kim Chungha!

New Weekly KPOP Releases

Hi Guys.
Here's this week's listing of KPOP goodness you are yet to try out!
Please like, and leave a comment if there are others you feel should be listed.

KARD – Hola Hola

Well, nothing new to see here... just some few koreans trying to join the aegyo club so hard, they're actually doing their best to make it as 'hipster' as possible.

Akdong Musician – Dinosaur

Well, it has a catchy rhythm... nothing else to commend about it tho.

EXO – Ko Ko Bop

Very impressive! I enjoy having all these small touches of reggae in korean based music... gives room for concept diversity.

Okdal – Coming Of Age

Yeah, yeah. You have a violin, so what? Do we have to automatically think you're 'hot' because of it. No sir/maam/ze??

Kimoxavi – Killin’ It

Well...... there's that. What's with everyone and trying to be the next 2Pac. Not workinng!

Live High – Kung Dari Sha Bah Rah

Oh look... more dancing in the beach. That's Girls' Generation 2011. But they're girls!!! 9 outta 10 from me.

Parc Jae Jung & Mark – Lemonade Love

Station must've thought, 'What's the best way to express my love to a girl, but add my favorite drink'. Then they hit the jackpot.

What do you think?
Please leave a like on the songs you've enjoyed during the course of the week.

Cheers!

Donghae of Super Junior fapped to Red Velvet & TWICE while in the military

Hi people,

Today, our very own Donghae from Super Junior was asked if he 'beat the meat' to any one while in the military, and his response was the notorious TWICE and Red Velvet.
Red Velvet has been known to display little hints of sexual symbolism and subtle cuteness, but I never thought it was this effective.

Donghae cited,' During military life, RedVelvet & TWICE give a lot of strength to me'.  It seems as though the artists signed under SM Entertainment are told to mention Red Velvet, so I suppose TWICE will be a good back-up, so it's not weird 'fapping' to their fellow contract staff.

And it's sort of unfortunate, because these artist have to keep them company after they return from the military...

I wonder how they feel about this.

Weekly KPOP Song Latest Releases

Hello Chingus! (Oh yeah, Kim Chungha will soon be releasing her Solo Debut soon, Watch out!)

Every week, I'll be posting new releases of good KPOP Songs you probably haven't heard, that's actually really nice to listen to. The new releases will be shown with addition to some of my reviews as regards the music video.

You could just take a look at the songs and see which song moves you, if reviews simply aren't your thing.

One – Heyahe

I dunno about you guys, but the first thing that came to mind when I saw this, was Adele's Hello! The moody setting, the weird eye contacts, and things like that. Still a good song though.

PSY ft. Taeyang – Love

I think ever since 'Gangnam Style' ,Psy has been looking for innovative ways to prove he wasn't a one-hit wonder, by inventing even more ridiculous concepts... such as this. They've decided that no one should see their faces on camera, but at least a glimpse wouldn't hurt. The entire song, the not so attractive girls dancing.... we're not interested sorry.

Limesoda ft. MC Gree – Z Z Z

Well, after their marvelous performance on SBS, I wouldn't expect the music video to be below standard. Boy was I wrong. At least these girls are trying for their debut. And thank goodness it’s something catchy for a change.

WJSN (Cosmic Girls) – Kiss Me

Because 2NE1 Disbanded, and Sistar said good-bye, WJSN have taken the choice to milk this opportunity with summer combacks surrounded by cheesy colors. Nice marketing technique, but we're not buying it.

Jessi – Gucci

I was introduced to Kreayshawn’s “Gucci Gucci” because it was #1 on someone’s worst list, but that song is actually fucking great, partly because it actually had a decent beat, but also because the message of the song was “high fashion labels and being a trendy fuckstain is dumb”.  That’s exactly the type of content I’d expect from someone who is the daughter of one of the Trashwomen.  Of course that type of concept doesn’t translate to Korean pop artists who now just think “Gucci” is a cool word, but Jessi is exactly the type of “basic bitch” Kreayshawn was referring to in that song.

Park Boram – Why, You?

I actually just love her face, that's why she's here... Oh, and the song is amazing.

The Solutions – All That You Want

What is this?
I personally don't like this song, but I just feel it's worth mentioning because of the art style in this Music Video. The Solutions aren't that popular, but the whole concept of the street style is picturesque compared to the facets of KPOP Entertainment.

Voisper – Crush On U

LOL. That scene about the weight lifting. Talk about 'toxic masculinity'. Korean guys seem so oppressed. There is symbolism everywhere! That's not a workout, bro. You're just blowing the wind with that.

Dumbfoundead ft. G.Soul – Water

Well, I never thought I'd be more uninterested about songs with 'sexual references'. They probably saved the worst for last, and hoped that the sex rhymes would support the song. Big fail. But the girl drinking is cute though :P.

Mind U – Love Me

Let’s have a boring acoustic ballad and sing in falsetto in the chorus like a cunt, sounds like a great idea.

Luhan – On Fire

Impressed! I'm impressed with this. Seems like the Korean FloRida in action here. Let's do well to show him support.

Lee Woojin, Jeong Sagang – Love Is…

I think they forgot what instrument they were to bring for this music video... coz they started with Guitars.. what happened?

Park Junhan – Rememberance

Another rare Gem. Good Solo Performance. Amazing scenery. We need more ballads like this!

                                                                After School - Bang!

This is the Dance Version. The original below:

Wilcox – Rain Man

Well, no suspense in the song, so I'm not a big fan. But what the heck, it's Wilcox.

Sophiya – Therapy

Sia would be proud! Such dancing should be recognized.

Stella Jang – You As You Are

That’s all for this week – more new releases next week!

BlackPink's Performance earns a triple Crown on SBS's 'Inkigayo' + Other Performances

BlackPink wow's us again, gaining a triple crown, as they perform on SBS's 'Inkigayo', along with some of your favourite Idols like NCT's Doyoung, Jinyoung from BIA4.

On this episode, Jessi came back with "Gucci", Park Bo Ram came back with "Why, You?", MIND U came back with "Love Me", and Voisper came back with "Crush On You". Favorite debuted with "Party Time", and Lime Soda came back with "Z Z Z".

Below are some of their performances:

[DEBUT: Lime Soda]

Our ladies were ever cute in their performance....  HyeRim, keep on doing your thing!

[Kim Tae Woo]

Well, I love the whole vibe of trying to be the next PSY, but really.... your style needs more pruning.

[A Pink]

Apink's performance brought this kind of warm excitement to the crowd, with their stage presence and all. Naeun looked sort of 'exciting'

[Black Pink]

I don't have to say much on Black-Pink.. they always shine. From their consistency in performing as a Quadro, to their amazing stage presence and pretty costumes... they have my respect!

[MAMAMOO]

Mamamoo! Ever since this 'Yes I am' became a big hit, we really won't hear the last of it. I mean, we get it, but the tune is already boring to listen to.

[Cosmic Girls]

Cosmic Girls performed like your very own College Cheerleaders on stage. Amazing concept, keep it up!

[Kim Chung Ha]

This damsel Kim Chung-ha deserves a medal for this performance! Her art style is actually true and authentic.. We need more of this Lady Kim.. Cheers!
